Gainesville has a Bed & Breakfast District!!

It is official-Gainesville now has a Bed and Breakfast District!
The utilities have been put under ground and the poles have been replaced by period street lamps. The most recent addition to the Victorian Era historic district is the Bed and Breakfast District Banners. The official Bed and Breakfast District Banners were made possible by a joint venture between the City of Gainesville Community Redevelopment Agency and the incredibly supportive neighborhood.With the Banners hanging from the period street lamps, you will find yourself transported to the 1800’s. It is surreal to walk down streets lighted with lamps from another era and see the streets are lined with beautifully restored Victorian Mansions. It is easy to forget the troubles of the day when all you see is beauty….
